Heart Center patients have access to the highest level of care, delivered by highly trained and experienced physicians and staff. This includes six cardiac catheterization labs and two electrophysiology labs. The cath labs perform over 11,000 procedures annually as well as over 2,800 interventional procedures such as pacemaker implantations. Physicians specializing in heart rhythm treat patients with various heart rhythm disorders, including heart palpitations, atrial fibrillation and arrhythmias in the electrophysiology (EP) lab. Both traditional approaches and advanced treatment services, such as the Convergent Procedure, a hybrid approach utilizing cardiac surgeons and electrophysiologists are utilized. The structural heart program treats patients with heart valve problems utilizing both surgical and non-surgical approaches.
